Designer Cotton Fabric Baby Bibs

In the midst of juggling work and life, I still manage to make these..
few more fabric baby bibs for girls and boys!
Selling at RM16 each.. have a look at the new- fresh from oven bibs!
I'm using mostly Michael Miller's fabric, topped with his Ta Dot fabric collection.
Backed with fuzzy matching flannel fabric and snap button closure, these bibs are "baby friendly".

My son is unwell..

My son was admitted at Prince Court Medical Center due to flu + cough + spiking fever..
Grateful that he's recovering now.. Alhamdulillah..

Now he's as active as ever..

Long long to do list is ahead of me!
Have to make up for time spent as the hospital!

Hi everyone.. This is a sneak peak of my new upcoming project.
Something that I have been longed for so many months!

FABRIC BABY BOOTIES!

These booties will be on sale at my blog.. fabric selections are available..
Sizes ranged from 1month to 1 year. Custom orders are highly welcome!
I'll be making baby girl and baby boy booties..

I'm using imported US designer fabric for the booties..
Price are ranged from RM30-RM35/pair..

*Note that there are elastic at the heel of the bootie.. this makes it snug perfectly for your growing baby! and.. ehem ehem. There's my label.. right in the middle of the sole :-)

POLYESTER felt VS 100% WOOL felt

Hi there! I'm sure most of us are familiar with felts. They comes in sheets or by meters.
Sell mostly in Craft stores.. blog shops.. etc.

What we get most in Malaysia are POLYESTER felt. It is indeed a very difficult search for me to find a 100% WOOL felt. At last, I bought my felts here: Material Evidence Shop

The shop offers free 100% wool felt sample for their followers, IF u asked for it.
Go ahead and join them at their official website! Don't forget to ask for a free sample as you will definitely feel the HUGE differences between POLYESTER and WOOL felts.
Once you've tried it, you won't go back to polyester felt!

Here's what I've got to say:

polyester felt characteristics:

- Cheap
- Soft and fluffy
- Has a "shining" texture to it (due to polyester blend)
- Easy to fray
- Worn out and "berbulu" easily
- Not heat and pull resistant

100% wool felt characteristics:

- A bit expensive
- Soft but firm texture
- Easy, clean cutting
- Non-fraying
- Not easy to worn out and certainly don't "berbulu"
- Heat and pull resistant

Compare polyester felt (purple at the back) and wool felt (dark purple at the front) texture:

* My products that uses felt will now use 100% wool felt only.

Please note that my felt products are a bit expensive than others.. but mine will certainly keep its shape, durability and softness for long long time!
